The role of the Assistant Branch Retail Manager is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations at our Exeter Branch. The ideal candidate will possess experience in retail, trades, or construction, with a strong emphasis on customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high standard of service.
- Deliver outstanding customer support to both new and existing clients.
- Strive to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
- Foster positive relationships with customers to enhance their experience.
- Assist in managing branch operations and support team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the branch environment.

Candidate Profile:
- A proactive approach to customer service with a strong desire to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in IT, including MS Office and relevant industry software.
- A valid driving license is essential; a forklift license is advantageous.
- Ability to step in for the Branch Manager when necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the trade or retail sector is preferred.
