Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the third in command at the nursery, collaborating closely with the management team.
- As a keyworker, ensure that the unique needs of each child are met, including support for parents with any special educational needs.
- Take responsibility for the observations, assessments, and planning for your key children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), providing developmentally appropriate next steps and supporting the staff team.
- Foster an environment that encourages and celebrates children's growth and achievements while mentoring and managing our team of practitioners.
- Most importantly, ensure that the work environment is enjoyable and engaging.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have prior experience in a senior nursery position, such as Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
