Position: Fleet Operations Coordinator

Location: Worcester with a blend of remote and office work

Salary: £23,270 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Type: Temporary position for a specified duration

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our dedicated Fleet team in Worcester. This team of five is responsible for the daily operations that ensure Sanctuary's fleet of vehicles remains functional. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, from general administrative duties to specific tasks related to vehicle management, such as approving drivers, arranging vehicle hires for business purposes, and updating the fleet management system to maintain accurate records of all vehicle operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ordering vehicles and hire vehicles, following up on updates, and scheduling deliveries.
  • Maintaining comprehensive fleet data using the Group's fleet management system.
  • Executing administrative tasks for approximately 3,000 drivers, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with clients by addressing fleet inquiries promptly and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency within the team.
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate employee and fleet records concerning relevant documentation and license requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Recent experience in a similar role within a transport or busy operational environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Familiarity with current fleet legislation and documentation requirements is advantageous.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this role, as is the accuracy of information provided.
  • A positive and adaptable work attitude, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
