Sonovision Limited, a leading provider of technical publications and services, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating 2D CAD engineering drawings for the nuclear power industry. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update 2D CAD engineering drawings for the nuclear power industry
  • Work alongside a team of project engineers, technical authors, and document controllers to create and maintain site drawings
  • Support weekly reporting functions, including attending progress meetings with stakeholders
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in an engineering environment, with nuclear experience an advantage
  • Experience with producing and updating engineering drawings using AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of engineering data in various formats, from engineering drawings to design reports
  • Adequate competency using different software packages for planning and reporting purposes
  • A proactive thinker with the ability to provide potential solutions
  • Ability to track production of tasks from conception to completion
  • Drive and enthusiasm to achieve customer quality criteria
  • Ability to work to deadlines and adhere to schedules
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Current CTC or SC Clearance an advantage
