Are you a compassionate and flexible individual dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of students with varied needs? GSL Education is on the lookout for committed individuals to join our team as Special Educational Needs (SEN) School Assistants in Redditch.

This SEN institution accommodates a diverse array of requirements, fostering a supportive atmosphere for students facing numerous challenges. The school provides assistance to students with physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism spectrum conditions (ASC), moderate learning difficulties (LD), as well as those with visual and auditory impairments, and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support for students with physical disabilities, including help with feeding, changing, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in their educational and personal growth.
  • Support students with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) in their communication and social skills.
  • Provide assistance for students with moderate learning difficulties (LD) such as dyslexia and dyspraxia.
  • Modify teaching strategies to cater to the specific needs of students with visual and auditory impairments.
  • Create a nurturing environment for students with Down syndrome, enhancing their overall well-being.

Some students may require personal care, including feeding, changing, and mobility support.
