As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the built environment by providing expert advice and guidance on a range of development proposals. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the planning process, from initial appraisals to final submissions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough planning appraisals for land and buildings, evaluating their suitability for different development schemes.
- Prepare comprehensive planning applications and supporting statements, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Produce clear and concise reports, outlining your findings and recommendations to clients and planning authorities.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and planning officers to navigate the planning process smoothly.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions and support development proposals.
We are looking for candidates who possess a relevant RTPI accredited degree and have achieved Chartered Town Planner status or are actively working towards it. Prior experience in a consultancy setting is highly desirable, particularly within the residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use sectors.
