Job Title: Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our facilities management team at Arcus FM Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work on a range of mechanical and electrical systems. This will involve working autonomously, travelling to dedicated sites and carrying out a variety of tasks including emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Fault find and repair work on a range of systems
  • Carry out emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work
  • Work autonomously, travelling to dedicated sites
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality work to a high standard
Requirements
  • 18th edition qualification
  • HVAC experience
  • Full valid UK driver's license
  • On the job experience working in an M&E Engineer role or similar
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety

Working Hours

The role will involve working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 weeks on call.
