Primary Duties:

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and providing product details.
  • Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Keep the store environment clean, organized, and visually appealing by arranging merchandise, managing displays, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Support inventory management tasks, including receiving and unpacking deliveries, organizing stockroom items, and conducting inventory counts.
  • Assist during promotional events and sales initiatives, setting up displays, updating signage, and engaging with customers.
  • Address customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in line with store policies, striving to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or stock discrepancies to management.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a harmonious working environment.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new products, company policies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail management is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service position is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • A positive demeanor, enthusiasm for retail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
