Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced journalist and manager to lead our travel content team. As Chief Travel Editor, you will be responsible for managing a team of journalists, developing our travel content strategy, and ensuring the highest quality of our travel features.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental or commodity markets, with a minimum of ten years of experience in journalism and management. They will be able to juggle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and have a hands-on attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a team of at least five reporters to produce high-quality travel content
  2. Develop and implement our travel content strategy to meet business objectives
  3. Maintain and build our network of contacts in the travel industry
  4. Attend and report from industry conferences and events
  5. Liaise with carbon market sources to stay up-to-date on market trends
  6. Contribute to price discovery by developing and engaging contacts
  7. Produce spot news stories and longer-form journalism on a regular basis
