Position Overview

Lead Financial Operations Manager - Competitive Salary + Company Benefits

FryerMiles is excited to collaborate with a private equity-backed organization to recruit a Lead Financial Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial health of a rapidly expanding enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily financial operations of the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a dedicated finance team, ensuring effective financial management and control.
  • Work in close partnership with the Financial Controller, FP&A Manager, and CFO to facilitate the smooth operation of finance functions during a period of significant growth.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and perform P&L variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the financial controller and external auditors to ensure a seamless year-end audit process.
  • Handle VAT returns and assist with annual tax reporting obligations.
  • Play a crucial role in the implementation of a new accounting system.
  • Streamline the purchase approval process and enhance bank feed automation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for system support within the finance team.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficient in exploring and utilizing financial software and ERP systems.
