The Role: Relief Housing Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Relief Housing Support Worker to join our team. This role provides essential support across our retirement living villages in Malvern, Worcester, and Ledbury. You will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular compliance testing, health and safety checks, and customer visits to maintain high standards across our schemes.
  • Providing building management services and monitoring door entry intercom systems to ensure security and accessibility for residents.
  • Promptly reporting and coordinating repairs, implementing safety measures, and collaborating with the Health & Safety Manager as needed, including RIDDOR reporting where applicable.
  • Supporting the team during periods of leave, sickness, or increased workload by providing flexible coverage and ensuring seamless operations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A customer-focused approach with experience in resolving complex issues effectively.
  • An understanding of working with vulnerable adults is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to delivering high standards and a proactive attitude towards service improvement.
  • A full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for site visits and travel between offices is essential.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
