Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our Construction team, you will play a critical role in the financial management of our projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Planning and Control: Develop and maintain accurate cost plans and estimates for large-scale projects, ensuring that costs are effectively managed and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts for design and construction, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that any changes or disputes are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, ensuring that the best value is obtained from suppliers and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed of project progress and any potential financial risks or opportunities.
- Experience: Proven experience in a cost engineering, contract management, or commercial role within the construction or infrastructure sectors, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Education: Degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering, construction, or business-related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and associated contract administration and negotiations, as well as proficiency in web-based contract management tools.
