About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design and Web Design tutor to join our team at Havering Adult College. As a Sessional Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in Graphic Design and Web Design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Graphic Design and Web Design courses to students of varying levels and abilities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the individual needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching team
Requirements
  • A level 3 vocational qualification or above in Graphic Design and Web Design
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one (provided as free CPD training)
  • GCSE A*-C English and Mathematics qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload
  • Secure knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
