We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontract Buyer to join our Edinburgh Procurement function in our Radar and Advanced Targeting line of business.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for creating and managing supplier contracts to ensure commercial compliance with internal and external governance.
- Contribute to developing sourcing strategies at all phases of the product lifecycle, managing and reporting on work packages, and working independently.
- Involved in supplier account management activities, including market analysis of supplier pricing to ensure price reasonableness and reporting.
- Prepare and present contract compliance packs for internal audit and external government bodies or their agencies.
- Manage supplier delivery performance of NPI contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, identifying and managing risk and opportunity.
- Deploy SAP activities to carry out the job effectively, especially in relation to contract creation.
- IT literate with MS Office and SAP knowledge preferred.
- Working knowledge of trade/export compliance.
