**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our East of England team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to our Caring Services teams, supporting the innovation and development of new services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop market intelligence, pipeline prospects, and knowledge management to support Marie Curie's growth.
  • Manage proposal development, ensuring the quality assurance and submission of proposals.
  • Prepare and execute all contracts for services on behalf of the place-based team.
  • Work across the organisation to ensure that all contract management and financial aspects of contracts are aligned and in place.
  • Work with the mobilisation team to ensure the successful mobilisation of services.
  • Identify risks to plans and implement actions in partnership with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and overcome challenges.

**What You'll Need**

  • Commercial expertise and experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare or charity sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
