About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a Public Health Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing public health systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop public health systems, including above and below-ground drainage systems, rainwater and roof drainage designs, hot and cold-water services, and fire suppression systems.
  • Provide detailed, coordinated, and cost-efficient public health design advice to our clients.
  • Produce designs, specifications, calculations, and reports to meet client requirements.
  • Work with minimal supervision and may be responsible for individual projects.
  • React efficiently to multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing public health systems.
  • Understanding of all drainage services, including rainwater and domestic water services.
  • Ability to produce calculations, reports, and specifications with good written communication skills.
  • Attendance at design team meetings and client meetings.
  • Site inspection duties.
  • Proficient in CAD and Revit.
  • Conversant with relevant British Standards.
  • Good communication and consultancy experience.
  • Working towards a professional qualification.
