Overview:

Are you a recent graduate in English eager to gain practical classroom experience before embarking on your teaching career? Join the dedicated team at Protocol Education, where we facilitate opportunities for educators within local schools.

There is currently a significant demand for substitute teachers in secondary school English departments. Your role will involve covering English lessons for students in years 7 to 11. All lesson plans will be provided, and you will not be responsible for grading assignments.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable classroom experience prior to obtaining your teaching qualification.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a BA (Hons) in English, with a focus on literature or language.
  • Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence in managing large groups of students.
