Job Overview

The Opportunity:

ISR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client, a leading renewable energy company, on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving projects and striving for the highest standards in monitoring of asset managed renewable energy sites. This will involve working on a rota basis, including some weekend cover, to ensure the smooth operation of these sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High and Low Voltage (HV/LV) experience is essential, including design, installation, and plant specifications, as well as liaising with subcontracted designers.
  • Perform reactive maintenance when required.
  • Experience in completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.
  • Background in identifying, recording, and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Expertise in completing designs and reports.
  • Relevant certification or qualifications, such as City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent, and/or Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification and/or Level 3 Diploma, BS7671 18th Edition.
  • Driving licence required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
