Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons across different subjects, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
  • Provide one-to-one or group support for students who need additional help, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, as well as their academic achievements.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons and classroom resources.
  • Supervise and assist children during break times, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide feedback on student progress
Ideal Candidate:
  • A recent graduate with a degree in psychology, arts, sports, education, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A genuine interest in working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is preferred but not essential.
  • A proactive and creative approach to engaging students and enhancing the learning environment.
  • Able to work effectively within a team of teachers and support staff.
  • Open to learning new skills and able to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom
