The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team at the NHS Mycology Reference Centre in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive scientific service to nationally accepted standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Service in delivering a broad range of complex, specialized, and non-routine scientific work requiring skilled performance with a high level of individual responsibility.
- Maintain a high standard of work and contribute to developing the service of the laboratory to ensure safe, effective, and economical service delivery following best practice according to ISO15189 standard.
About the Role
This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped, and fully UKAS ISO15189 accredited laboratory. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Service in providing a comprehensive scientific service to nationally accepted standards.
Requirements
- Biomedical Sciences Degree or equivalent.
- Must have HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
