About the Role

Our award-winning Culinary Team is excited to announce an opening for a Junior Kitchen Chef. Under the guidance of our Executive Chef, you will prepare exquisite dishes using locally sourced Scottish ingredients and manage your own section while receiving invaluable mentorship and development within the resort.

The Junior Kitchen Chef plays a crucial role in exceeding the culinary expectations of our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the assigned workstation in the kitchen. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with the ability to adapt to the high demands of this position.

Join a friendly and inclusive kitchen environment that creates exceptional dishes, from fine dining to light spa snacks, utilizing fresh, local produce. You will report to the Sous Chef and benefit from ongoing guidance and development.

Salary

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £25,000 per year. Additional hours are compensated as overtime, and accommodation assistance is available for relocation purposes.

Skills/Requirements

· Strong understanding of culinary terminology and techniques

· Completion of SVQ 1 & 2, NVQ, or equivalent, with the ability to work across all kitchen stations.

· Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a hospitality setting.

· Excellent communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Passion for delivering exceptional service to both guests and team members
