Occupational Health Advisor Role

The Occupational Health Advisor position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised individual to support clients in achieving their statutory duties to protect and promote the health, safety and welfare of people at work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify potential health risks
  • Report on health risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Perform routine health surveillance and pre-placement screenings
  • Conduct fitness-for-work assessments and undertake case management
  • Manage health records and ensure safe storage, security and confidentiality
  • Work to strict protocols and procedures set by MCL Medics and in line with SEQOHS accreditation
Requirements:
  • RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered
  • Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals with workload management confidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages and comfortable in use of OH software
