Operations Leader

We are seeking an Operations Leader for our facility. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is accountable for overseeing all site operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in team development and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Zero Harm and Safety Differently principles effectively.
  • Executing Zero Defect policies and procedures with precision.
  • Meeting production and efficiency benchmarks.
  • Enhancing Process Reliability.
  • Engaging operational teams with the organization's values and objectives.
  • Designing and executing changes based on data analysis and root cause evaluations (including risk assessments, root cause analysis, 5S, and best practice benchmarking).
  • Monitoring and reporting on continuous improvement metrics such as plant efficiency, OEE, near misses, and product flow compliance.
  • Leading and facilitating improvement initiatives utilizing Kaizen and DMAIC methodologies.

What You'll Need:

  • Preferably a Six Sigma Green Belt certification or a CI/lean-based qualification.
  • NEBOSH certification is required; IOSH is acceptable.
  • Experience in a lean-based or continuous improvement operational role is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in team and shift leadership.
  • Familiarity with quality-focused environments and standards is preferred.
  • Highly organized with a flexible, proactive, self-motivated, and persistent approach.
  • Strong coaching abilities.
  • Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Skills in leadership, project management, and change management.
