About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team at ARM. As a key member of our FPGA team, you will play a critical role in delivering and supporting FPGA platforms, enabling designs, debug, and deployment of advanced pre-silicon verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on FPGA prototyping requirements for sophisticated and highly configurable systems, collaborating with local and cross-site teams to achieve verification goals.
  • Craft test plans, develop and perform testbench verification, run validation checks on FPGA platforms, and debug test failures and issues.
  • Contribute to improving methodologies used by the team, automating flows, and providing support for the FPGA service to users.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of hardware verification languages (System Verilog, Verilog) and scripting languages (Python, TCL, Shell).
  • Knowledge of C++ programming language for writing test cases.
  • Experience of validation for sophisticated SoC products containing multicore and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, etc.).
  • Understanding of ARM-based systems, including SoC system architecture and AMBA protocols.
Nice to Have
  • Low-level programming experience, including C and Assembler.
  • Knowledge of advanced verification techniques (assertions, property checking, etc.).
  • Knowledge of debugging System and IP-level projects using Verdi or Visualizer.
  • Exposure to FPGA flows with AMD Xilinx, including compilation, debug, performance, and implementation of basic features.
  • Basic understanding of Linux OS and kernels.
