Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock and Inventory Manager to join our team at ERIKS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control data, optimizing customer and ERIKS stock profiles, and ensuring timely and accurate loading of sales and purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputize for the Site Manager in their absence and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory control data within our site systems and proactively review inventory data to optimize customer and ERIKS stock profiles.
- Ensure that sales orders are promptly loaded onto the systems at acceptable margin levels, savings achievement, and customer delivery requirements.
- Ensure that purchase orders are promptly loaded onto the systems utilizing established preferred sources of supply where possible.
- Research and identify supply options where preferred suppliers have not been previously determined or cannot supply within required timescales.
- Provide management and customers with reports, key performance indicators, and feedback to contribute to effective planning, budgeting, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all company management systems policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management and control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
