Job Summary

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of UPS's package handling facilities. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, mechanical components, and other systems to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment
  • Respond to facility alarms and emergencies, and troubleshoot problems within the sortation system and facility
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of maintenance-related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering, preferably with a focus on electrical systems
  • Significant experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Clean UK driving license and ability to travel to various locations as needed
