A Logistics Coordinator is sought to become part of a thriving Steel manufacturing firm. This role offers a chance to engage with a dynamic Logistics team, overseeing customer order management, inventory levels, and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of orders.
In this position, you will report to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Managing inventory and coordinating deliveries with both internal and external storage facilities.
- Collaboratively handling all major accounts, addressing any inquiries that arise.
- Guaranteeing that customer orders are shipped and received punctually, liaising with internal production teams, transport providers, and ports.
- Maintaining accurate transport logs and logistics documentation.
- Overseeing stock management to optimize inventory flow and identify any critical changes or challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Proficient IT skills, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in roles such as Logistics Administrator, Transport Coordinator, or similar positions.
- Ability to interpret data and recognize trends.
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional organizational abilities.
