About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AV Executive to join our broadcast team at The Specialist Works. As an AV Executive, you will work closely with the AV Manager to plan, buy, and run TV advertising campaigns on behalf of our clients.

The AV team at The Specialist Works plans and buys across all areas of AV, including traditional linear spot, BVOD, CTV, and sponsorship. We operate across multiple markets, including the UK, France, Germany, and the Americas, offering clients a unique combination of high service levels, international exposure, and market-leading analysis.

As an AV Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and administering multiple accounts on a daily basis
  • Supporting the AV Manager in creating advertising plans and daily advertising schedules
  • Attending client and supplier meetings
  • Enhancing your knowledge of the TV marketplace and other media channels
  • Being the primary point of contact for internal and external parties related to your accounts
  • Monitoring clients' spend versus available credit and pre-payments
  • Running daily reports on live advertising campaigns and analyzing findings to present to clients
  • Negotiating with media owners and sales houses to protect trading rates and service levels
  • Managing reconciliation with TV Sales Houses

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced AV Executive with a strong understanding of media buying processes and a proven track record of working with clients and suppliers. You should have around a year's experience in an entry-level AV or media planning/buying role and be familiar with the TV marketplace and other media channels.
