Job Description

We're seeking a Principal Consultant - Health and Safety Principal Designer to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you'll be responsible for delivering H&S consultancy services to existing and new clients. You'll ensure that all business management KPIs, including financial and commission management targets, are met in accordance with Turner & Townsend's business, corporate, and financial management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' needs, proactively identify solutions to their challenges, and ensure consistent delivery of H&S excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities with existing clients (on-sell and up-sell) and support the winning of new work by contributing to tender submissions and tender interviews.
  • Build strong working relationships within the SHQ team and across the wider T&T business in London and wider.
  • Manage projects to ensure profitability and compliance with Turner & Townsend management systems.

  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines with disciplined ability to work unsupervised.
  • Good IT skills and competence in Microsoft Office suite to generate own reports and documents.
  • Proven experience as a CDM Principal Designer.
  • Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired but must have construction site H&S experience.
  • Membership at some level of the Association of Project Safety.
  • GradIOSH (or TechIOSH - if actively working towards GradIOSH).
Desired Qualifications
  • CmaPS or FmaPS.
  • CMIOSH.
  • Full UK driving licence.
