About the Role

We're seeking a talented Senior Product Owner to play a pivotal role in delivering the next iteration of our software platform. Reporting to the VP Software Engineering, you'll work in a growing, cross-functional engineering team with expertise across software, hardware, data, research, and infrastructure. Your success will depend on harmoniously orchestrating multiple business units, and this role is key to realizing our vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development process to ensure rapid delivery of impactful product features and releases.
  • Own and facilitate ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, team health check-ins, and goal setting cadence using OKRs.
  • Design and implement modern agile practices to continuously improve software team value creation.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, influencing colleagues to achieve their best professional growth.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in Product Owner roles enabling teams to deliver impactful software.
  • High EQ: bring technical and business acumen, compassion to the team, and someone who can help scale Chemify to the next level.
  • Ability to work from our Glasgow-based office.
  • Experience as a software or hardware engineer.
  • Interest in Mechanical engineering and robotics.
  • Experience within AI, Life Sciences, or Laboratory Automation domains.
  • Contribution to product and/or agile practice communities.
  • Exposure to cloud-native technology stacks on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
