Job Overview
This role will be to lead on the development, implementation and management of the Adults' Service Commissioning Delivery Plan. Duties will be to;
- Establish a Commissioning Board with the remit of setting the commissioning priorities, consolidating and overseeing the current workstreams.
- Develop and Maintain Commissioning Relationships with commissioning partners from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to identify areas for joint commissioning and service development.
- Lead on Service Development initiatives to improve the quality and accessibility of adult services.
- Manage and Oversee the implementation of the Commissioning Delivery Plan, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including commissioning partners, service providers, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead on the development and implementation of the Commissioning Delivery Plan, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and priorities.
• Manage and oversee the commissioning process, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the adult services market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience in commissioning and service development, with a strong understanding of the adult services market.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
