Role Overview
As a Real Estate Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to be the foremost property management company in the UK by:
- Delivering outstanding property management services that enhance customer satisfaction and create a seamless experience.
- Implementing our strategic framework to ensure properties are well-maintained, fulfilling all legal obligations as the appointed manager.
- Embodying our core values to attract new business opportunities and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- As a remote leader, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule effectively, conducting regular visits to properties and prioritizing those needing more attention.
- Facilitate regular discussions with key stakeholders in your portfolio, fostering positive relationships and open communication.
- Oversee and approve all financial expenditures throughout the year, ensuring budget adherence and value for clients while reviewing service charge accounts.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to manage portfolio debts, including the initial collection of service charge arrears.
- Ensure compliance with essential Health and Safety regulations, acting as the designated 'Responsible Person' for fire safety and related legislation.
- Conduct thorough inspections of your properties, ensuring that performance indicators are met in alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Complete all necessary risk assessments and follow-up actions within specified timelines, taking ownership of any enforcement actions as required.
- Ensure timely execution of major and planned remedial works, managing contracts with external contractors to meet customer expectations.
- Effectively mobilize and manage new property schemes integrated into FirstPort's portfolio.
