Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on geotechnical and environmental matters.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Geotechnical Assessments: Conduct thorough geotechnical assessments, including site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation designs.
- Environmental Services: Provide expert advice on environmental matters, including contaminated land assessments and ground gas assessments.
- Reporting: Prepare and present high-quality reports, including factual and interpretative reporting.
- Education: BSc in Geology, Ground Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. MSc is desirable but not essential.
- Experience: Proven track record of experience working in a similar consultancy or contracting practice, with a focus on geotechnical and environmental services.
- Skills: Excellent site work skills, including trial pitting and drilling. Strong project management and communication skills.
- Competitive Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum.
- Flexible Working Hours: 7:30 - 9:30 start time, with a 37.5 hour week.
- Hybrid Working: A combination of office and remote work.
