Role Overview
Are you a qualified Physiotherapist looking for a role that offers flexibility and a chance to positively impact lives? As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will leverage your clinical skills to evaluate how health conditions or disabilities influence individuals' daily activities.
In this position, you will handle intricate cases involving chronic pain, neurological issues, and various physical and mental health challenges. Your empathy and professional experience will play a crucial role in assisting clients in progressing in their lives.
This role is both demanding and fulfilling, which is why we offer a comprehensive training program designed to ensure your success. You will undergo an initial training period followed by continuous support and mentorship as you embark on your assessment journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or in-person to evaluate the impact of disabilities or health conditions on daily living.
- Generate Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining benefit eligibility.
- Enhance your clinical expertise and assessment capabilities through regular feedback and supervision.
Qualifications
- Current HCPC registration number.
- Minimum of one year of diverse post-registration experience, either within or outside the NHS.
- Must possess the right to work in the UK.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer software for report writing.
