Host Staffing is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated General Manager to oversee one of our esteemed gastro pubs located in the vibrant area of Chelsea. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small yet expanding collection of independently operated gastro pubs, celebrated for their outstanding quality and service.


Role Overview:
As the General Manager, you will represent the pub, fostering a friendly and inviting environment. Your leadership will be hands-on, ensuring that the highest service standards are upheld and that every patron has a remarkable experience. Your ability to connect with the local community and regular visitors will be crucial to your success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead the front-of-house team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee back-of-house operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Develop strong relationships with the local community and returning customers.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining effective cost management.
  • Maintain the pub's reputation for excellence in both food and service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the owners on the strategic direction of the establishment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience as a General Manager in a premium gastro pub or a similar upscale hospitality environment.

  • Comprehensive understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
