About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Solutions Development and Delivery function. As the Head of Solutions Development and Delivery, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and transitioning IT change across the organization, while driving initiatives to optimize, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and transition of IT change across the organization.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of IT and other members of the IT Leadership Team to execute the vision and strategy for our Solutions Development and Delivery function.
  • Select the most appropriate project management methods to meet the unique demands of each project.
  • Maintain strict control over project processes, change management, risk, and testing.
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue, and capital costs, ensuring alignment with portfolio budgets.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that it is agreed upon and rigorously followed.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and foster a positive working environment within your team.
Requirements
  • Proven leader of project and IT technical teams and expertise across all aspects of project governance.
  • Experience with technology change delivery across multiple inter-dependent products using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Strong client, project sponsor, supplier, and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams concurrently.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and to deal with competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver, a confident decision maker, comfortable with accountability at a senior level.
