We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate, Treasury Solutions to join our Finance team at BNY Mellon. This role is located in Manchester and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of treasury solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Review and Validate Business Logic: Conduct thorough reviews of business logic to ensure validity and accuracy, identifying and reporting any unexpected or undesired results.
- Produce Daily Reports and Reconciliations: Develop and maintain daily reports and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Support Management Reporting: Provide critical support in the production of management reports and briefings, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research, gather data, and analyze information to support the documentation, assessment, and testing of data lineage and business rules associated with BNY Mellon Liquidity reporting.
- Escalate Complex Issues: Identify and escalate unprecedented and complex issues to senior team members or management, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop Finance and Treasury Knowledge: Acquire a deep understanding of complex finance, treasury, capital, and asset-liability management concepts.
- Cultivate Relationships: Foster strong relationships with peers in the businesses, Risk Management, Finance, and Corporate Treasury to ensure efficient collection of data inputs into ALMIS.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics a plus.
- SQL Experience: Strong experience with SQL.
- Relevant Work Experience: Relevant total work experience preferred.
- Liquidity Stress Testing Experience: Experience with liquidity stress testing, liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, capital management, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations a plus.
- Financial Risk Experience: Experience with Financial Risk functions (e.g. Compliance, Ops Risk, Technology Risk, Enterprise Risk) a significant plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior management communication.
