About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEX or CLC or Fee Earner to join our team at LJW Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters, including sales & purchase, freehold & leasehold, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions.
  • Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
  • Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work, building a strong network of contacts and referrals.
  • Generate a fee income in line with agreed targets, working closely with our business development team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage your own work allocation, productivity, and quality of work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of your work and ensuring that it is completed to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Preferably over 3 PQE, with a proven track record of managing a caseload of residential property matters.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your own caseload without supervision and taking ownership of your work.
  • Proven track record of billings, with a strong understanding of the financial aspects of conveyancing.
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for client interaction, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
