Overnight Care Supervisor

Location: Coleford

Pay rate: £14.76

Contracted hours: 36 hours, 3x shifts a week

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our caregiving teams make a significant impact every day, and your professionalism, combined with empathy and compassion, will be central to your role. As a leader of a small group of caregivers, you will be tasked with vigilantly monitoring the safety and security of our residents and the facility as a whole. You will ensure that care plans are consistently updated, recognizing the importance of maintaining precise records, and will effectively manage your time and that of your team to enhance the wellbeing of our residents. While some shifts may present challenges, you will also share laughter, create enjoyable moments, and forge lasting memories with our residents.

The Coombs is a 36-bed Care Home located in Coleford, providing residential, nursing, and respite care in a warm, homely environment. We are proud to have received a rating of 9.2 and a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission.

ABOUT YOU

You will possess an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or have achieved NVQ Level 2 and be willing to pursue NVQ Level 3. You should also have experience in leading a team to provide care, be eager to advance to a role with increased responsibilities, and be open to undertaking relevant training to foster your career development in a supportive, engaging, and rewarding environment.

As a positive role model, you will have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with others. As a supportive leader, you will inspire your team to deliver the highest standard of care to our residents at all times.
