Job Title: Care Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Southern Housing Careers. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents and service users, working in line with established care and support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents and service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive care and support service, responding to individual needs and preferences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident or service user.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care and support provided, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in care and support.
Requirements:
- A passion for delivering high-quality care and support, with a commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of residents and service users.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and service users.
- A flexible approach to working, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- A valid driving license and business use insurance, with the ability to use a vehicle for work purposes.
- A willingness to undertake sleep-in duties and participate in the on-call rota, as required.
