Oxford University Innovation is a world-renowned leader in technology transfer and commercialisation, with a proven track record of success in the life sciences sector. We are seeking an experienced Licensing Manager to join our team and play a key role in the commercialisation of innovative medical and life science technologies.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experts to identify and execute new commercial strategies for transferring technologies to industry. This will involve working with world-leading academics to lead the translation and commercialisation of new medical and life science technologies, as well as negotiating licensing and other commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement commercialisation strategies for life sciences technologies
  2. Work with academics to translate and commercialise new medical and life science technologies
  3. Negotiate licensing and other commercial contracts
  4. Manage intellectual property and patent portfolios

Requirements:

  1. Upper second or first class degree in a relevant field
  2. Relevant commercial or technology transfer experience in the life sciences sector
  3. Knowledge of university technology transfer processes
  4. Market knowledge of pharmaceutical products
