Position Summary:
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to contribute to our success.

Location:
This role is currently based in a scenic area, with plans to relocate to a new facility in the near future.


Job Purpose:
The Field Service Technician will be an integral member of the Service, Spares, and Support team, responsible for assisting with all system installations.

This role involves conducting regular service visits to client locations, both domestically and internationally, to ensure optimal performance of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine service visits to customer sites globally and generating detailed reports for each visit.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
  • Engaging with clients to provide support and guidance to operators.
  • Conducting fault-finding and on-site diagnostics of systems.
  • Participating in an on-call rota for emergency breakdown support.
  • Addressing reactive service requests as they arise.

Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in field service roles.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical expertise in industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Rockwell Allen Bradley ControlLogix systems.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and rapport.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • A highly motivated and dependable individual.
  • Composed, trustworthy, and positive demeanor.
  • Self-driven, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel and work across various locations as required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
