Belinda Roberts Ltd, a well-established family-run retail business, is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their team on a part-time basis. This role will be remotely based, with occasional meetings in the office, offering the perfect balance of flexibility and structure.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for carrying out business-to-business collections. Key duties will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients across the country
  • Ensuring timely payments and chasing overdue invoices
  • Managing internal queries and maintaining accurate records
  • Negotiating repayment plans and sending statements of account
  • Checking credit ratings and obtaining credit insurance
  • Providing weekly reports to senior management on outstanding debts

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience as a credit controller
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
