**Job Summary**

Little Steps Childcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team as a Childcare & Nursery Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare centre, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop and learn.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and coordinate activity planning to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the centre's high standards are maintained.
  • Support and develop the nursery team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as fire safety protocols.

**Requirements**

  • Qualification in Childhood Practice recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council at SCQF level 9 or above.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nursery management.
