Job Overview

At DJS Business Development LTD T/A (Westwood Recruitment Ltd), we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller to join our client's team in a world-renowned Manufacturing company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components to technical specifications.
  • Setting up and configuring CNC machines for optimal performance.
  • Manufacturing components from engineering drawings, adhering to company Quality procedures.
  • Conducting self-inspection of work and ensuring compliance with HSE legislations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to the 5S program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings to produce accurate components.
  • Operating and editing CNC milling machines to achieve precise results.
  • Utilizing measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.) to ensure component accuracy.
  • Applying knowledge of geometrical tolerances to produce high-quality components.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Producing components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Engineering Apprenticeship or similar qualification.
  • Ability to set, operate, and edit CNC programs.
  • Fanuc experience is advantageous, but other systems are considered.
