About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to join our team at Microlise. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of our software solutions
  • Work closely with our architecture team to ensure that our software solutions are aligned with our overall technical vision
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that our software solutions are well-documented and easily maintainable
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
