The Philanthropy Events Manager role is a new specialized position within the Development Office, responsible for planning and implementing strategic fundraising events in support of our major fundraising campaign and other fundraising priorities.

This role will be critical to the successful delivery of the fundraising campaign through strategic focus on driving impactful events and donor engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement strategic fundraising events to support the University's major fundraising campaign and other fundraising priorities.
  • Develop and execute a donor engagement strategy to drive impactful events and increase fundraising revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Development Office team to ensure alignment with the University's fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, stakeholders, and event attendees.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, with a focus on fundraising and donor engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the University's fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
