This is an exciting opportunity to join Indigo Search Limited as a Logistics Coordinator, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Transport department, including a team of drivers, planners, and operatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise a team of transport professionals, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to negotiate and manage logistics agreements.
  • Develop and implement effective transport planning strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Engage and motivate team members to achieve exceptional performance and productivity.
  • Provide commercial guidance and support to the team, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  • Assume responsibility for operational requirements, including standing in for the Operations Manager when necessary.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, including vocational courses such as the CPC Management course.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in transport operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including late shifts, to meet business needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to commute to and from the office on a daily basis.
