As a Bid Writer, your role will involve close collaboration with our operational leaders to pinpoint funding prospects that resonate with our objectives in public health, community outreach, and youth services. You will take charge of researching and identifying leads, composing compelling funding proposals and tender documents, and nurturing vital relationships with funders and stakeholders. Your blend of creativity and strategic insight will be essential in ensuring not only the sustainability of our organization but also its expansion and influence within the community.
Work Schedule: Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
Key Qualifications for the Bid Writer:
- At least two years of demonstrated experience in bid writing and management.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills to translate complex information into persuasive proposals.
- Proven understanding of business development within the nonprofit and community sectors.
- Outstanding research capabilities, especially in governmental policies and socio-economic trends.
- Self-driven and resilient, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
