Job Description: Head of Recovery

Fintellect Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Recovery. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned executive to lead our recovery team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to optimize efficiency and maximize repayment.
  • Manage a portfolio of default and recovery loan cases, providing proactive management to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Present case strategies and progress updates to the Company's borrower review forum and risk board.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Legal and Recoveries.
  • Prepare data and management information on default and recovery cases.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in delivering the business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in loan portfolio management, particularly in defaults and recoveries.
  • Good understanding of banking and financial services practice.
  • Ability to assess company accounting information.
  • Invoice Finance or Trade Finance experience is desirable.
  • Business and commercial awareness.
